Close Call

We still have our roof.

I can’t say the same for some of our neighbors unfortunately.

The tornado came right at us, I heard it, I felt it, and yet it bounced over our block and carried on, on its path of destruction, a block away.

I lost one pepper plant, that’s all. I feel very lucky.
